The challenge
The situation
Coaches were tracking players one at a time, with no single view of how a roster was actually progressing. Feedback waited for the next in-person session, by which point the round it referred to was days old.
How we approached it
The thinking
We treated the round as the unit of the system rather than the session. Once every round is captured on the device it happens on, progress becomes a time series instead of a memory, and feedback can leave the coach before the next meeting. That decision drove both the mobile-first capture and the roster-level dashboard.
