Sales & account management
Business Development Executive
Understand an operation well enough to describe its problem back to the person running it, then say honestly whether we fit.

What you will do
- Run discovery conversations with the people who operate the system, not only the people who sign for it.
- Describe the problem back to a prospect accurately enough that they correct only the details.
- Scope alongside the engineers who would build it, so a proposal is a plan rather than a hope.
- Write proposals that state the risk as well as the approach.
- Say when we are the wrong company, before the quote rather than after the first invoice.
What we are looking for
- Two or more years selling software, systems integration or technical services to businesses.
- Able to hold a technical conversation without a pre-sales engineer in the room.
- Written English good enough for a proposal a European buyer will read closely.
- Comfortable qualifying out, and able to explain why that is worth doing.
Nice to have
- Sold ERP, accounting or compliance software.
- Experience with international clients across time zones.
- Have owned an account after the sale as well as before it.
