Data Engineer
Model warehouses against the questions a business cannot answer today, then build the pipelines that keep them true.

What you will do
- Model dimensional warehouses from the questions the business cannot currently answer, not from the source schema.
- Build and monitor pipelines, including the reconciliation that proves a load was complete.
- Write the semantic layer that lets a plain-English query resolve to correct SQL.
- Migrate historical data and prove the old and new numbers agree before anyone relies on them.
What we are looking for
- Two to five years building data pipelines and warehouses in production.
- Strong SQL, and dimensional modelling you have actually had to defend to a finance team.
- Python for orchestration and transformation.
- Have owned a pipeline that broke at three in the morning and fixed the cause rather than the symptom.
Nice to have
- dbt, or a similar transformation framework.
- Warehouse cost and query performance tuning.
- Exposure to natural-language querying over a semantic layer.
