QA Engineer

Test systems where a wrong number is a financial discrepancy, and build the automation that catches it before a client does.

What you will do

Write and maintain automated end-to-end coverage on the flows that carry money.
Test the ledger the way an auditor would: does the document post, and does it reconcile.
Design the awkward cases, partial state, concurrency, an integration that times out halfway.
Verify migrations by comparing the old system's numbers with the new one's.
Report a defect so precisely that the engineer can reproduce it without asking you anything.

One to three years testing web applications, with at least some automation you wrote yourself.
A testing framework in production use: Playwright, Cypress or similar.
SQL good enough to check the database rather than trusting the screen.
The instinct to ask what happens when a step fails halfway through.
