What you will do
- Own features from the data model through the API to the interface, including the migration.
- Design schemas for systems where a lost row is a financial discrepancy, not a bug report.
- Build interfaces that stay usable on a factory-floor connection and a five-year-old machine.
- Review other people's designs early, when the expensive decisions are still cheap to change.
- Take part in the sprint demo, driving the software yourself in front of the client.
What we are looking for
- Four or more years on production web applications, with TypeScript and React at the centre of them.
- Node or Python on the server, and REST API design you can defend.
- PostgreSQL: schema design, indexing, transactions, and migrations run against live data.
- Experience with an operational domain, whether accounting, inventory, scheduling or logistics.
Nice to have
- Next.js App Router in production.
- Worked on an ERP, a ledger or another double-entry system.
- Have replaced a legacy system without a big-bang cutover.
